Climate change effects on bronchial asthma

Team members: Zeinab Emad Younis Abdelrahman, Yara Ahmed Elsabah Mohamed Marey Mekky, and Mostafa Khaled Mohamed Gamaleldin Sedky.
We are undergraduate students at King Salman International University College of Medicine. We are Zeinab Emad and Yara Ahmed. We are very interested in diseases resulting from environmental pollution, especially those that affect the respiratory system, such as asthma. There's a marked increase in bronchial asthma and mortality rate. (262 million people in 2019,461000 deaths. Some of them are due to climate changes). Our goals are to show the relationship between climate change and bronchial asthma using statistical graphs and increase awareness among policymakers, KSIU campus academics, and healthcare workers on bronchial asthma that would cause economic problems that can affect the quality of life.
Our tactics would be making awareness campaigns, posters, and lectures about most allergens in Egypt that increase due to climate change, field visits to the environment, and healthcare administrations. The outcome would be decreasing bronchial asthma rates and severity of allergens that lead to reducing bronchial asthma by changing the attitude of policymakers and stakeholders towards the environment and climate changes and their impact on public health.

Field visits of asthma patients to measure CO2 emission and air humidity in their environment
Continue creating and sharing videos and posters to raise the public's awareness about the impact of climate change on health.
